Got that right ill look into it more later im hoping i just forgot to get one bolt if not and i have to take it back down i might as well rering it

if you overtightened one bolt you could have cracked the pump housing or if you didn't get one tight, both of which would lead to your prob.

if you re ring it make sure to get some perf. rings, and it wouldn't be a bad
idea to have the cylinders honed, this will get rid of any buildup and make
a good seal.

Ok so i took it back down and redid the hole thing i checked the oilpump houseing and it was not cracked. so i took my time and sealed it up torqed it to spec and everything let it set over nite to let the gasket maker set. so i start it up and let it run for about 8 min and boom its still leaking oil from somewere . it looks like its coming off the top of the oil pump but i cant find it leaking. cuase of the waterpump in the way. so its pissed me off for the last time. im gone go pick up my new Engine puller friday and pull the motor and do a complete overhaul on it makes me mad that i have to do this but i guess in the long run it will be better
