whats a parking break? I took mine off when i got the bags on.. I just lay it out and parked.

Quick Update:
What happened was a reflector pegged one of the parking brake brackets and bent all the way back. This pinched the cable and slightly locked the rear and screw up the pull lever. I just freed it from the bent bracket, but now the cable has alot more slack cause its missing a mounting point.
As for removing the parking brake. I dont always lay it out when I run in somewhere really quick or I dont feel like attracting attention. I just like the security of having it there for those situations. (Yes I know I can just put it in gear, but I like the parking brake )

glad it wasn't too silly up..... there is some adjustment nuts w/e under the cab, you might try to take up some of the slack that way until you fix the bracket....i hear ya about the security of a parking brake.... esp if you are parked on a slight hill or something of such, even if i were laid out, i would feel much better about leaving my truck parked with one!
