Well my 94 4.3 is home but not at home in my truck yet. I put it in the engine bay to see how it fits. It looks like it will fit awesome. Just gotta put on the oil pan and the top of the intake manifold. And weld in some mounts and wire it up. SOunds easy typing it up lol

Good luck with the swap man. Are you doing fuel injection? Do you have a mount kit? Let me know if you have any problems. I have a 97 4.3 in my B2000.

im helpin a buddy do a 4.3 in his s10, but we switched it to carb, bunch of edlebrock stuff, look like a baby 350, i think i might i have to do it to a project

no mount kit gonna use some universal transdapt ones and I have the painless wiring harness so the wirining shouldn't be bad.....just wondering what you are using for exhaust headers manifolds? and does the 2wd or 4wd oil pan make much of a difference?> they look about the same to me
THanks for info

Not sure what the difference is between the 4x4 and 2wd pan. I think mine is 2wd. Manifolds can be a pain, I went through 3 sets before I found the ones that work best. Manifolds from full size trucks tend to flare outboard too much, pointing right at the frame rails. Manifolds out of an S10 will be your best bet. Just make sure they don't have air injection.

What transmission are you using?

I converted the 4l60e to 2 wd and my manifold are from a blazer what about headers?

You should be about all set then. I haven't looked into aftermarket headers. Frankly with 250 lb-ft and 4.44 rear gears, more torque is low on the priority list

I want em more for looks are you using the maxzda rear?

In that case, I'd imagine that any of the S10 headers would fit. There is also a company that makes shorty headers for toyota conversions.

I can't help on fitment.

I have the B2600 4x4 rear axle. Planning on going back to 3.909 and big tires.
