So whats the most you had to repair to pass inspection?

Damn its 15 bucks a year in Va then emmissions is like $30 every 2 years. I just got my 87 inspected in Jan and I had to put on new shocks, headlights, I rigged the defroster so it would work, bleed the brakes a couple other things. This is before I took it to the shop to inspect took it one place and they failed it for something I cant remember now but then I took it right down the street and they passed not 20 mins later!!! Garages here do the inspections so I think they just try to charge you shit so they can make some money!!

blah I dunno what Im going to do. Back were I used to live there were no emissions, but in Atlanta there is. Gotta find another truck or do something....

i didnt have to do anything, the guy i go to is a really good friend of my uncles and all i did was give him $10, he came outside, scrapped off my old one, slapped on the new one and told me to have a good day. didnt check one thing or even walk around the truck. it was awesome

I'm the opposite.. i think we need stricter emissions... and would like to see FL become an emission testing state. Mostly because of global warming, and were about to hit crucial points of no return on our polar ice caps. Don't seem like a big deal now.. but when your eating slop and having to put a hazmad suit on to go get the newspaper as a 70 year old.. u will wish that we had stricter emissions, and vehicles that ran off corn.

WE DON'T HAVE INSPECTIONS IN HUNTSVILLE, AL....YET, I'VE HEARD ITS COMING THO...AT LEAST FOR THE LARGER CITIES IN ALABAMA, I HOPE THAT IT ISN'T TOO BAD THO AS THE LAST TAG I BOUGHT FOR MY TRUCK WAS IN '98, AND I TALKED TO THE LADY AT THE TAG OFFICE LAST AUG WHEN I WENT TO GET THE TAGS FOR MY DAILY AND MY BIKE, SHE SAID TO BRING THE TRUCK, MY TITLE, AND MY LAST TAG RECEIPT WHEN I CAME TO GET A TAG, THEY WOULD CHECK THE LIGHTS, AND VIN TO MAKE SURE IT WAS THE SAME TRUCK, AND I WOULD HAVE TO WRITE A LETTER SAYING THAT IT HADN'T BEEN DRIVEN SINCE '98, AND THEY WOULD ISSUE ME A NEW TAG. AS LONG AS THEY GIVE ME A TAG AGAIN, I CAN KEEP IT RUNNING GOOD ENOUGH SO IF THEY DO START EMISSION TESTING I WILL BE ABLE TO PASS.

Ahhh but Global Warming actually is a pretty natural earth function. No we are not doing anything to help situatuion with the way we live our lives, but the warming is in part due to just the Earth being a bitch.

i figured all we gotta do is turn on our a/c to 66 and open up the doors and it'll cool the world

inspection what are those :LOL: Im glad I bought my truck and live down here in florida I wouldnt be able to even pull my my truck outa the garage cops would have been all over it.
