thats true.....i have only found a few heavily rusted spots, but they seem to be common rust areas on them because they make patch panels for all of them....

that what i found in my bed when i brought my mazda home, they had a conveyor belt in the back and i guess water stayed trapped and rusted through sux.........now i just need to find a bed

That's eeeeevil! If that was my truck,I'd cut it out and weld in new stuff. I wouldn't want that to spread any more than it has.

Amazing how easily these trucks rot. It's like it'll rust away if you wash it without drying it off.

My 86 did not have any rust on it well not counting the bed thay had one of those crappy bedliners in it and it only had like 3 small fist size holes

dident u realize when u throught stuff on the ground in ur truck they just dissapeared lol hahaha

My truck is extremely clean for it's age,and considering it lives in the salt belt. My front bumper is rusted through on the passenger side,but that's typical Mazda rust. My bed has 3 penny sized holes on the floor,and a hole on the top of the left wheel well big enough to fit 2 fingers through. My driver's side door has 3 minor surface scabs,and underneath the truck it clean as a whistle. My engine bay is spotless,and even the carpet in the interior is like new.

Plus the truck ony has 80 000miles on it.
