Steel gives off an orange color and spark while titanium gives off a bright white color spark. To see what they look like check out suicide doors.com and click on draggin videos or pick up the Lowlife video "Sake".
i was kind of wondering this myself, if there was a metal that burned blue when being dragged, probably not worht the hassle but would be sick if it were possible...
i believe that there are. a guy told me once that there are some types of steel that will shine colors like blue, green, yellow and white. i dont remember what they are called
There are metals that will give off all kinds of colors....that's how they give color to fireworks.... Some of them probably aren't safe to drag, though. lol
magnesium burns blue.. but once it's on fire, you ain't gonna put it out so your ride is going up in flames.. as I know, and I am a sheetmetal mechanic, not other types of metal burn blue..
yeah you don't want magnesium. DANGEROUS! gear boxes on helicopters are made out of it and we have actually burned down full helicopters from pilots setting the rotor brake while the head is spinning to fast and catching the gearbox on fire. and once it starts don't spray water on it cause it WILL explode! bad stuff man.
