I would have to say "buy it" bro. I too am looking a buying an 86' B-2000, from my brother. It's already bagged and 4-linked, if you plan on doing the same, you'll be happy with it. These trucks look good layed out, even without a body drop.

i dont know how to post pics on this site but im not a complete moron and i think i figured it out. By the way my camera was free and i know it sucks, haha. My 2005 wrx has engine management, 4" bellmouth downpipe then full 3" catless jdm exhaust (sounds pretty mean), sti injectors, ported throttle body, bigger intercooler hoses, worx bov, ported exhaust manifold, dropped, gauges. Its a blast to drive. Ive owned 3 brand NEW cars in the last 1.5 yrs and this is the best car for the money out there, please go drive one at a dealership when you have a sec just for fun. But now i will be able to actually build a car since i will own 2 cars at the same time Now i can put a new motor or huge turbo on the wrx or bag the mazda while i drive the other car. I cant wait. But i still havent bought the truck, the inside is pretty smelly and ripped up, window is way more jacked up than i thought, and he cant find the title all of a sudden....

haha, thanks. No i was stupid not rich. My credit is really good. Im only 22 but i think my credit score is 770. I had a supra, a shop rebuilt the motor when it blew and tried to screw me over and not even change out the internals....so we went to court..... i sold that car for like 1,000. Then i bought a 03 focus hatch brand new, someone hit me, didnt have insurance....decided i wanted a truck. SO then i bought a 05 silverado, dropped it and put it on 20's, after 5,000 miles the car rattled like it had 200,000 miles. Chevy wouldnt help so i got a 05 wrx used. Now happy, but $3000 upsidown. Dont be young and dumb, lesson learned

Welcome to the scene. I got your 3 cars in a year beat. Try 11 in 4 years. haha. ...they were all less than $4k anyways, haha

These are great little trucks. My grandpa has a '92 2.2 FI with over 370 000 original Kilometers (over 200k Miles) on it. My '89 has 136 000km on the body (just under 80k miles) and I broke an oil ring and my valve seals were no good,so I had my engine rebuilt. It was bored out .75 over, head was shaved, ported and polished and had a new clutch and rad installed and the bill ran me $2300 for parts and labour. That's also Canadian dollars,so that would be about $2000 US anyways.

Lots of aftermarket parts for these trucks, real easy vehicles to work on,just watch out for rust. You probably don't have to worry about rust as much in Texas as we have to up here in the salt belt of Ontario, but these things like to rust like a paper towel absorbs liquid.

I'm still fairly new here, and the guys here are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
