i just picked up a lincoln 100, i love it, the instructional video taught me nothing,

but i've been practicing on 16 guage sheet and i was wondering if i flip my weld over am i still supposed to see a gap between the metal i am welding or do i need to slow down and get more penetration?

LINCOLN 175 flux/MIG 220V.
As Mark said, only $150 more than than the Lincoln 100.
Really makes clean/slug free welds.

it's actually 150 more than the 3200HD. and about 250 more than the 100

Plus you need the 220v to run it. Not alot of home shops have that.

Yes, we had to run an extension from the dryer outlet. It's 220V, 3-prong.

HAHA I was wondering where that cord was runnin from - good idea cord looks a bit small for the amperage required for welding. BUT if it works - great.

the 175 is rated at 20amps at the highest setting. that wire is plenty. it's an actual power wire, and not an extension cord which has thicker insulation, which makes it look thicker.

Good deal - pics can be deceiving.
