I would not have mentioned the store it happened at, I would'nt ever say anything, I got no love for crappy tire, decent score though.
Is your concience buggin ya though? They won't balance cash, find the problem by the amount, and the dude will get in trouble, do ya care?
I think if it happened to me, and i was the dude at the counter, I'd be prayin that you came back and sorted it out.
But, thats up to you man, I just sympathise with the dude.
Karma, pay it forward, thats how I roll.

No...But they will balance cash, basically they paid me the price of the Core ($30+tax), instead of taking it off the price of the starter, Which they didnt charge me for, Parts guys fault, he wrote up the receipt, not the Cashiers Fault..and not my fault...i didnt really understand what happened until i left the store.

sucks for the next mazda guy who needs a starter and calls them after they have checked inventory then gets excited after the guy types it in the computer and it reads one in stock then gets pissed because they end up not having it...oh well, id pay it. -bf

If there was no invoice then fanni is right, and cash would not be out, but inventory will be.
I'm not tryin to impose my concience on ya, thats a personal thing, thats the point....?
I have had so many issues with crappy tire rebuilds , alternators , starters, lets hope you dont have any issues with it, cause w/o a reciept they won't warranty it, either way yer ahead though

who's fault is it? certainly not the consumers... should he have to deal with the inconvienience to go back to the store for their mistake? take time outta his life, gas money ect. I don't think so! I don't think it's dishonest at all, it's not like he shoved it in his pocket and walked out... they made the mistake... they take the penalty.. plust who cares about a big box multi multi million dollar company like crappy tire. nice score man
