Welome to the B side.

Good to see some more west coast bros on here, I was starting to think me, Phatkix and Boon were the only BC boys up in this maf.
Sorry bout the jive talk, I cant help it.
I'm such a cracker...lol

On the water scenario, I would suggest a shop vac to suck it out when ya find it. Its easier than tryin to soak it up espcially if the water is behind yer inside rocker panels.

Drainage is neccessary, but if yer takin on water from underneath I would get to the bottom of that right away, strip the interior out, then pour water on possible problem areas mentioned earlier. to eliminate the possibilty of any leaky seals.
I hear its even flooding down on the mainland right now eh? Water brings rust and is therefore EVIL
I dont get the coastal rain yall get down there. But I got tons of snow!!

Update:

Ok there is definitly water in the cab. It started to rain last night and all day, i didnt drive it all day today or last night. I looked in the jack compartment under the rear jumper and the water is under the jack in the side.

Are there any drains where I can just pull the rubber grommets out to get that water out?

Im pretty sure the water is coming from the top since I didnt drive it all day and it filled up again. Either from the rear sliding window or the side pop-out windows. I just cant tell.

First i just want that water out of my cab! and then i will source the leak. if there are no drains can i just drill some temporary drainage? its not going to stop raining for awhile

thanks for all the replies and tips.

My truck doesn't see snow, and very little rain. When I pulled out my interior,my floor was completely dry except in the driver's footwell which was only surface rust, which I just took a grinder to and then sprayed the floor with undercoating and laid the new carpet down.

another update:

ok i pushed in those big rubber things under the ext cab on both sides and tons of water came out. hopefully thats all the drainage i need for now.

I then proceeded to take apart the interior on the passenger side, the driver side is dry and the pass side was all wet including the carpet. well the leak doesnt seem to be coming from the chrome trim around the window or the rear window. I think its coming from up front, any ideas?, firewall maybe? its collecting in the rocker panels. the ext cab was dry.

Im out of ideas... its raining again, maybe with the carpet pulled up i can see it trickling in somewhere but i doubt it.

whatever ya do dont drill any holes they will turn into large cancer spots later on.
to remove the water....
SHOP VAC!!
They work awesome with water removal.

Cover the truck with a tarp or something, and then do a controlled experiment, in other words, dry it out completely then pour water where you are suspecting any leaks, and continue untill you find all of the water leaks.
