at the risk of sounding like an old man it getting that way in every scene. i was very heavy in the mustang scene but now i never go to any shows and i even hate to drive my car through town because the young punk kids who bought their car with dads money just want hate on my car with no intensions of backing it up. I just want to cruise and hang out with like minded people, you can have the drama.

So far this thread has been an interesting read. I strongly agree with those who are intent on helping, no matter how obvious the question might seem. I am definately not very big on those who hate or dis a ride simply because it does not fit their views. Been a member of layitlow for some time; but find myself in here almost exclusively. Must be a reason.

But really, I used to be the type to get "scared off" by crappy attitudes.

for example, skateboarding got a really bad reputation and all the stereotypes were flying when it peaked in popularity, and I distanced myself from it.
And as much as I dont regret that even now, I let the haters and punks ruin it for me, I will not let that happen with minitruckin.

I DONT CARE WHAT SHAPE YOUR TRUCK IS IN,
I DONT CARE IF YOU DRAG OR NOT, I DONT CARE IF YOU GOT NO BASS, OR BAGS.
YOU ARE STILL INDIVIDUALLY IMPORTANT TO THE SCENE,
EACH PERSON HAS SOMETHING DIFFERENT TO OFFER.

I WILL, still respect you help you when you ask, ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT YOU, stay positive and be an asset to our scene and I will not let anyone ruin this for me.

Totally agreed with Dan.

I joined this scene because even though we may have the minitruck bug in common,it all comes down to the people who own and drive the trucks,and they're who you have to put up with all the time. Now if the trucks spoke,that might be a totally different story all together...


..the movie 'Cars' comes to mind. lol
