yeah that is the basics (only usually he builds it as a roller motor instead of stroked), but we go as far as cleaning the oil galley down to bare metal for better oil flow, port and polish, i am going to install a high rise intake, big cam, etc. etc. they are bad***! my dad has built many for a few mustang guys and he also has one in his 1975 maverick grabber. that thing will do a 170mph all day long. i am going to put a 9" rearend with limited slip, and a 5 spd tranny. my dad actually built a friend of ours one about 8 months ago and the guy just has it sitting in his garage, he hasn't even cranked it up yet, not even in the car yet. i was thinking about buying his, because everything he has done to it is what i want done and it is stroked. this was actually the first stroker motor he has built and he said it was hell, because he didn't know about all the little things that you have to do.
enough of me rambling, thanks for the quotes guys, keep them coming, i am trying to decide on what i want. i want to get it done before this weekend, before the car show.
