hey man we all have the bad "days" hel right now i cant even see my daughter....due to mother being a dumbass...so now i have to shell out thousands of dollars for a lawyer just so i can see my own flesh and blood. i have a picture of here on my tool box just to remind me when things at work start getting me down all i do is look at the picture and remind my self this si all for her...thats what you have to do find an inspiration and do what ever it takes to reach it... in your case maybe your mini or finishing school find something that inspires you to go out and bust you B_lls cuz in the end all that work will pay off once you reach that goal

yes i knwo i contradicted myself in that sentence. but you know, AT LEAST I'M STILL TRYIN TO GET MY EDUCATION! you don't know what is goin on in my life.

and btw, GED's are accepted just like most diplomas would be...

I could drop out, start on drugs or some tish into a downward spiral... but no... i choose to join the national guard to get my GED and my automotive education. that way i'd have military experience, GED, and ASE. As is right now, MY FAMILY is in a bind with bills. i'm dropping school to get 2 jobs so i can help them out. when money is tight, I MAKE SACRIFICES.

only advice i have to you is to suck it up and get your ass back in school. make something of your life. life sucks when you are living paycheck to paycheck, you dont have any money to buy things for your truck or even nice things for yourself. dont come on here and whine about it, sure you are having a tough time but man you're not even 16. everyone goes through bad times. when its all said and done in a few years youll look back on it and thank yourself. life is no fun when you are 45 years old and wishing you would have finished school and made something of your life. think about that.

I just turned 21 in January. I hated school. All I wanted to do was finish school, get my grade 12,get the hell out of there, get a job and get on with my life. Well that was easier said than done. This is my 3rd year out of high school, and all I've done is work temp jobs at factories for $10-12/hr. Mind you,I absolutely LOVED my job when I worked at JCI making car seats, and that job only lasted me a year and a half until I got laid off.

I've been lucky enough that last month I just got hired full time at a factory, where I can get benefits in 3 months, and make more money and actually have a chance to be successful at this place, but I absolutely HATE the job and despise every waking second I'm there. I'm finally fed up with working shitty jobs, because this is how the rest of my life is going to be if I don't do something now. I am capable of much more than what I'm doing. I've somewhat kicked myself in the ass right now,but it's a wake up call.

I've decided to begin an autobody paint/repair apprenticeship as soon as this fall. It'll take about 3 years and I'll be 24 or 25 by the time it's done, but hey,it's probably the best thing I can do for myself at this point.

dude you are 16, you get your ass back in school, new legislation (may be spelled wrong) being passed is that if your under 18 and have dropped out of school your license will be taken away and the people who hire you may be charged if they are allowing you to work during the school hours.

this world is all about higher education, and believe me its needed 100%,

i waited 4 years to go to college after highschool because i realized there really isnt a great future without education. you are young and dont know it yet, it took me till i was 23 to see it.
LaydoutB26, i dont have my highschool either, but i do have my GED, my advice, if you need money that bad, sell the truck, and stay in school, just because its recognized the same as a diploma, it doesnt get you the education that school does.

and mazdawgydawg. one more thing, maybe its time to get your priorities straight, forget about a truck right now and concentrate on school, (and girls)
