does anyone know if the rear from an 87 b2600 4x4 is the same as an 87 b2000 2wd?

theres a guy trying to sell me the whole truck for $450

id buy the truck for the sheet metel but the rear end is geared differnt from the 2 wheel drives

What is lsd? i keep seeing references and came to the conclusion that its the 3rd member?

the 2600i and the 2200/2000 are not the same rear end. The 2wd 2200 and 2000 do have the same rear end from 86-93. Its actually a common swap to put the b2200 or b2000 rear end on the b2600i due to the different gear ratios.

yea so anyways my mazda's only purpose now is charging batteries

my 300zx i just bought has a bad alternator but it seems to last almost a whole day for it to run the battery dry. so i swap batteries with the b2k and let er idle with the choke on for a half hour or so

then she gets shut off and thats that. im still lookin for a rear...

i got the only battery charger on the block that you can sit in and listen to music LOL

well i found that rear in jersey but im lazy as hell and i found a gmc stepside with a fresh 350 but needs a trans all for 1000 dollars. so maybe i should sell my b2k. how much u think i could get for it?

clean body, a little bit of rust starting on the back 2 corners. 108k miles. runs good. good trans. bad rear ofcourse. clean interior... average head unit... tint...

idk. i just dont feel like goin to philly to pull out a rear and then take mine out and then put the new one in.. i looked in the shop manual and i gotta like grind shit from the bolt heads holdin in the axles and what not...
