well according to our frapper map, most of us are east of the rockies



like low mazda said, a weekend thing, maybe around a 3 day holiday or something so everyone that traveled would have that extra day.....wouldn't want to have it when there were any of the other big shows going on or anything, so everyone could make those too ya know.

sorta like hocbj23's idea of having it in tn, no offence low mazda, but lookin at the frapper map, that would be a little more central to everyone, well cept for our homies down under......, maybe @ tims ford, or paris landing @ land between the lakes....

probably like crazymikey said, it would be hard for everyone to show up, maybe we could start having some area meets or sumthin?, then for those that could make it, do a national one, and maybe swap it up to a diff lo-cal every year.....?

Us southen Ontario guys are mostly 1 to 4 hours apart,which would make meets for us quite easy,plus we have shows like Scrape by the Lake and the Truck Nats to meet up at.

Paris Landing at LBL (TN) has a lot of room. Clarksville TN fairgrounds also has a lot of room.

Lets do it. Somewhere.

Interesting idea. Would be great for most of us to meet over a long weekend. Not sure what would be a central point for the group as a whole, but I do know south central Illinois has a fairground with a lake (DuQuoin, IL) that used to be host to a 6,000+ car show. Another option might be 2 gatherings at the same time. East and West or North and South. Maybe even a little video connect for those with mad computer skills and equip.

What long weekend holidays do both americans and us crazy canucks share?

Right now,looks like my shutdown at work is from August 27-31. That sucks.

My May 2-4 (Victoria Day) long weekend is scheduled for bodywork and paint (weather permitting).

yeah i think wome of the more brainey of the group lol should get some info from every body and try to organize the massive event!

Good plan...I mean,many of us plan months in advance to go to a certain show during the summer,and book the time off work or make arrangements to make it to that particular show,so I don't see why it would be any different for a huge Bscene meet. I actually don't think it's the scheduling that causes the problems,I think it's more the distance and cost involved more than anything.

With todays fuel prices it could could be pretty expensive to go from Washington State to Tennessee.
