So here I'am again, wondering. How can I wire up a switch "box" for the airbags?

I've seen people use game controllers, I've got a couple controllers for my PS2 that I could use. Or what about somehow wiring up a system and use a remote controller? Or has anyone done anything with bluetooth?

I'd like to know if there is anyone who has gone to extremes!

i think it's this month's minitruckin that has in the graffiti section a bondo can switchbox.
i've seen skulls, stars, dub city cars/trucks/suv/van's, cookie monster, uhh... i've seen lots of shit. it's pretty much limited to your electrical experience and a hard or semi hard object... so the sky's the limit.
i personally have a fiberglass rectangular switchbox that i made at work and painted and whatnot, that houses 2 switches for front/rear.

Lol, bondo can...

Whats the airbox remote? So none of you have seen wireless at all, or is it not possible?

EDIT: Lol, I searched up airbox remote after this post grav, it looks pretty cool! But for how much it is, I would'nt be all crazy over it...

Like the previous statement..."the sky's the limit!"

Just get some 3 screw terminal on-off-on momentary toggles and wire them up and then mount them with anything you want!!!

Good luck!

I just have a good idea... I have a Palm Treo 700wx with Windows Mobile on it. It would be cool to develop a bluetooth switch box and a program that would run on your cell phone. Then use your cell phone as a remote switch box and have another bluetooth switch box in the truck.

Hmmm... I might have to consult with a friend about a WM5 program and start building a small carputer to use as a bluetooth reciever.

A carputer with touchscreen for in car control of the suspension and the cell phone for wireless remote control. SWEET!!!

**Patent Pending Bitches** lol not really, but don't steel my idea... haha

ive got the wireless airbox. but im currently running 4 toggles on a metal box i made.

i was thinkin blue tooth type stuff would be pretty mint.

i'd like to just have an up/down function on a remote for an alarm.

Yeah I was thinking about it more today. I thought it would be cool if you could control it with the bluetooth in your phone and also view the pressure in each bag on the screen.

I have a friend that developes software for a living. Im going to meet up with him tomorrow and run the idea by him. I'm hoping he could possibly write a program for it.
