So I graduate highschool in a month or so and I will be getting a little bit of money my question is what should I spend it on I know some people will say save it for college but I got scholarships so thats not a problem.

I guess I sound greedy when I say this but, I think I will get around $2,000

should I?

Get New wheels?

Get it painted?

Get it backhalfed?

Start on the interior?

Im not bodydropping it on my 16's so thats outta the question ( for now lol)

But seriously I want everyones opinion on this, your input will effect my trucks look.

i say back half it and do the interior. 2 grand should cover all that if you are going to do most of the work yourself.

ahhh kill 2 birds with one stone im diggin it lol..........

any updates on your 83?
maztang (ryan)   +1y
none, i just started on a project tonight with a guy i work with. he has a 79 chevy c10 that we are bagging in my garage. i will be posting up pics soon. right now it has a body lift and big tires but we are about to change all that. we got the bed off tonight and man that was a bitch! but nothing to the 83 yet.

i feel ya bro is that the same body style as the 86? my buddy has one body dropped on 22s and he stock floored it and it came out to be like a 4" BD quite massive but ya keep me updated, oh and do you know anything about the factory a.c. compressors on our trucks?

Eh, I dunno what backhalfing it means, but sure! Lol

If I were you, if your body is straight, get it painted and new wheels! It would dramatically change the look of your truck! Especially if you get some good paint! Do all the body work, priming and prepping yourself. Get the the base laid on in a booth at a shop!

Interior would be nice to do! Depends on what your looking to do. If you want to upholster it all, get it done at an upholstery shop. Unless you think you can do it all nice and purdyful!

Haha, I don't think I'm helping any...

i don't know anything about the a/c compressors. my 83 doesn't have one and i am not sure if my 84s has it or not. i will have to check the next time i see it. what do you need to know about them? do i since an eng driven comp? and i am not sure if is the same body style or not, i think they change them in 85. i will post up a topic in the under construction forum maybe on sunday.

there was no 85 mazda, but yes i want EDC badly a buddy of mine has one on his 84 and dont use it and I want it with the bracket because it will bolt right up......

haha, i was talking about the c10 being the same body style until 85. i will look at my parts truck to see what all it has. i need to get it over to my house as soon as possible. i am going to cut the frame right behind the cab and make a show trailer out of the 84 bed to pull behind the 83.

I think your primer colours look cool as hell, defiently makes the truck unique.

I think I'd go for wheels and/or interior work. As I said lastnight,I'm not sure if they're 6 bolts, but the Trailblazer SS rims are sick as hell imo,and I think they'd look awesome on your truck and give it a totally different and smack in the face look.

I've never seen any interior pics of your truck,so I can't say what you could do,but billet items, steering wheel and shifter always brighten things up,as well maybe some reupholstered door panels or something.

Heck, even Eskies would look wicked on your truck, but the Trailblazers would be totally different.
