I got a whopping 3K when i graduated.. I blew it on wheels and interior on my toyota, I loved it! I didnt have plans for college, so the $$ went to my hobbie.. If your serious about school, maybe saving that $$ for your first semester is wise.. your call man..

Some pix of my wheels and int..

^^ Dont mind my crazyass center console, i made it myself and bombed haha

I say backhalf/wheels if theres enough money for both.

I got alot of money for scholarships for school, so the money for school is not a problem.

I want rims but I cant find any good lookin ones that will bolt right up, the ones I want are like $2500 without tires, I think im itching the 5 lug swap.

the trailblazer ss wheels are 6 lug but they will not fit i have a trailblazer along with the mazda and the mustang

In that case, get a Toyota axle when they backhalf it, and get those bolt on 5 lug Mazda hubs that guy in Canada makes. They're like $300 and you don't have to change your spindle or any steering/brake parts. Then you can get some 18s for like $800 with tires. Lol.

ya I was definatly considering that, but would they work on my 83, almost nothing is interchangable with the 86-93 to my truck.

oh and congrats on getting your truck smogged.

Thanks!

And I didn't think about your truck having the different frame and suspension. I'd probably call the guy and ask, or email. You know. Lol. If its the same taper it might work? But I don't know, I'm not a Mazda guy. I know Toyotas.

Idea.

Check into the 73-78 Toyota spindles for a swap. They have the same type of front suspension as your truck, spindle might be similar. I haven't had a close enough look at either to tell you.
