man halloween went down hill no kids go out anymore

theres no meaning to it to any one any more .. Unless your actually a kid and can't wait . Theres alot of ppl who care less about holloween . to them its just a gimmick to make money ..(candy , decorations, batteries, flashlights) ETC. Theres no real thought into holloween any more used to be back in the day if you wanted to dress up for holloween you'd have to MAKE YOUR OWN costume . Today you can go to the walmart and pick up a costome that everyone else will be wearing . Theres not thought process in it any more . ppl used to take a couple months to figure out what they want to be , then go start making thier costume . I guess that went out of date like the black and white tv!!! . To me holidays don't mean squat any more . no more family gatherings for thanksgiving or christmas. Granted at christmas you don't get presents like you used to (toys) Now that your older you get clothes ... to me anymore it means just another day . i have no one special to spend time with for holidays i have no kids either . my family is blah . don't want to get together like back in the day i think the last actual whole family gathering was like in 98 for x mas . I Dunno . I guess i lost my tune for the holiday spirit .

i might be out of work but i for damn sure can afford me some 50% off candy ! And i have a empty freezer waiting for some HAHA . watch out walmart . LOL

walmart was picked over already some how... now the more ghetto store.. zellers wasnt.. should be like kmart or some shit.. but damn i got me a few boxes of kitkat, smarties, coffee crisp an areo <3

i went out LOL its fun still being a kid i just got the mazda out from the back of the driveway to show it off and then went out for candy

my buddy here in town got his tire slashed for not passing out candy.. kids are hardcore now.

as for my friend who was murdered.. he was in jacksonville for the ever famous FL vs. GA game aka Worlds Biggest Outdoor Cocktail Party. He was at a bar watching the game because he couldn't get tickets.. went down an alley beside the bar.. reason unknown. 5 guys approached him. 3 held him down while 2 of them beat him into a comma. He died on the way to the hospital. It was all caught on a security tape, and all 5 were arrested and held without bail. We shall see what happens. I didn't know him as well as my room mates.. i knew his family better. His dad is a teacher at my old high school.. also where my mom works. And his mother owns the best bbq resterant on Merritt Island.
