I dont mean it to sound so drastic or cruel.. but.. you have to go back and look at the reason they are all coming here to begin with. Their countries & governments suck. And as long as they are allowed to suck.. we will be taking in their refugees. What happens in 50-75 years from now when the US population is so high that we cant feed our citizens? Thats one of the main problems with our politicians.. they dont look ahead. They react rather than lead. Sure its ok to let them in now.. they do the jobs nobody else wants.. yet our unemployment rate is still on the rise. Its time we stop looking out for the rest of the world and look out for our home. Now if the people of mexico want to over throw their governement and apply for Statehood then I am all for that. They become part of the system and I dont see anything wrong with that. But the US has too many problems on the home front to be the worlds babysitter and nursing home. As long as we allow people from foreign countries to come to America for a free ride.. it makes it so that the countries they originate from dont have to take responsibility for their own actions. Just my opinion of course

thats not right.. at one time every person no matter what backround migrated to this country. I believe we should tighten up boarder patrolls and not allow criminals and sex offenders into the country.. but if someone is willing to risk their life to get to our country (not picking on cubans and mexicans.. but those are the most common). Then by all means we should open our arms. And really.. they are doing the jobs we don't want to do. There are more than enough jobs in this country.. and even more opprotunities. Instead of knocking on the immigrants.. we should be knocking on capital hill and the "man's" door.. speaking up and asking for companies to stop gripping the all mighty dollar so hard and make it better for everyone. IE more jobs, cheaper cost of living, and less inflation.

sorry bro i have to completely disagree, not trying to pick a fight, but just because people come over here illegaly and take the jobs not everyone wants, that doesnt make it right, there are laws and proper ways to become a citizen in this country and EVERYONE should have to follow them, my great grand parents came to this country from italy many years ago and would have never even thought ot ask for a hand out, they came here, registered as citizens, got honest paying jobs, PAYED TAXES! and were not a debt to society, all these illegals that come over not only low ball americans, taking job opportunities away from them, but they also get to skip on taxzes? what kind of bs is that? sorry man, i would say lock the borders down too, so that people who want to come here have to do it right and will stop mooching off this country, no more free welfare based on race etc. thats just my tow pennies,

One other thought.. the rate with which refugees are coming to the US has multiplied more than 1000 times since we first said "give me your tired, your sick and your hungry" Times change. We are fortunate in this country that the system our forefathers put in place has allowed for you and I to have a better quality of life than most of the world has now. Thing is.. this is the 21st century.. there is no reason other than human greed and sheer stupidity that keeps the 3rd world countries of this planet from having a better lifestyle. If you really want to help someone... dont give them a hand out.. give them a hand up. Show them how to make it work.. dont just give them all they want and pat yourself on the back for doing a good deed. Its noble and honorable to want to help those less fortunate than ourselves.. but rather than helping someone from 1000 miles away.. why not go downtown and feed a homeless family. Ok.. very well spoken, you need to take people at face value. Find out what they are about, you may like some and others not so much. The best part about that is it is your right to choose if you like them or not. If you don't like someone the world still goes around and life goes on. It's like tornado he's into god and he seems like a good guy. it's not your beliefs that make you the man it's you that make you the man.

yes, well said...there are foreigners that have migrated into the US that are actually an asset to the US. I'm sorry there are people in this country that will sit at a curb rather than going out and looking for a job. Yes illegal foreigners are part of the blame, but comon, you can't help someone who will not help themselves.

just for the record.. i believe they should migrate the legal way.. the way you made it sound was no more immagrants.. period. And i didn't think that was right.
