anyway, as immortal said, u need a brake controller if your towing anything big. you can get a trailer with electric brakes and that brake controller and it helps SO much. its law in many states that a tandem axle trailer must have brakes on at least one axle. therefore you need a brake controller. unless u pick up an old one with hydraulic brakes, but they suck ass.

thanks guys, I got my eye on a 98 silverado 1500 in mint shape has 115,000 miles old man drives it I no him very well and is willing to let it go cheap

I tow A LOT. get a full size truck!!!! you do not wanna buy something smaller and regret it. I've towed a lot a cars on a flat bed trailer with the tahoe. You feel it back there. Get a full size and if its not a 2500 or better, put helper spings on it. even tho your mazda is small, you will still feel it. I towed a geo for this guy and i still felt it with the tahoe
