what color scheme would you do?

I'm curious to know what you'd do (if my truck doesn't sell, I may steal your idea) ... I really like the look of badchicn's with a black or dark color on top and a tan or sandy kinda color on the lower portion... looks kinda retro but elegant.

i also like the copper color on Mazda808's truck.

anyway.. I'm totally open to any idea's as long as not too wild. I do like 'clean'.

I'd really like to see photoshops if any of you guys are talented .. I'm not.

the cap will be staying on .. the front bumper/valance might stay with the chrome yota .. or i might sell them and go back to a stock setup with the chrome grill...

The most "elegant" Maz's I have seen are the factory painted 86-87 LX trucks that are Tuxedo black (NN paint code) with semi-flat silver around the wheel well openings, rocker panels and rear fascia. They are very sharp and very classy looking to me-hey but Im an old fart so what do I know.Lol.BJ

single or two tone, done right, both will look as classy as it gets....

i know exactly what you are talking about bj... i loved those when they first came out back then. i'll consider that ....

something also worth mentioning.. i now have lost the altezza's and i am running the stock tail lights with chrome trim and i also installed a set of the outside window/door trim in chrome on the truck

which would really stand out on a topside black truck.BJ

I like that Watt. It would be even tougher with limo tinted windows and the frames blacked out! My friends and I were just talking about retro colors. It is really hard to decide what will look good. My mom had a datsun 510 waggon with a rootbeer brown metallic paint and orange pinstriping.
It sounds like a horrible combo, but with the chrome wheels she had, it looked really sweet. I want to paint my daily something like that.

There are several stock colors I like. One is in someones signature here, where the truck is missing the bed. Sorta a purply grey. Very nice. I plan to split my color at the body line, like on the cover of the last MT. Just don't know what colors yet. Either that or a grey or a dark blue. My wife's Ford 500 is a sweet ass grey that I like. But I'm rambling now.

I'm debating whether to keep this color or not myself. I might go darker just a tad.
