those are some great ideas. kirk, you are very correct about CiD's ride. I've pm'd with him about how nice it looks. the factory grey i think on my 91 was called grey sand metallic or something like that. I'd also like CiD's wheels .. LOL
one thing that i have concluded is that with two tone (for my truck) the top has to be the darker color, the bottom helf the lighter or brghter color.
I'm with BJ about your photoshop watt.. reversed maybe?
badchicn.. that rootbeer color is simple yet wild at the same time, even if a solid color. i was at a customers shop last week and they were doing a tranny on a dropped older S10 .. i couldn't help but notice the rootbeer color on it.. it was nice. to me it's more catch your eye and forget about it.. as opposed to catch your eye and remember the image burned into your brain.. lol
i know that last summer, in my area, the greens (similar to mikey's truck), darker coppers and browns all done in solids were pretty popular around here on the imports... that means that this summer, it's going to be on all the kids cars around here that couldn't afford to do it last summer and had to save over the winter..
i mixed some chrysler (FM9) yesterday for a 00 S10 extreme .. it was kind of a neat color called 'black cherry metallic'... they are spraying it today so I'm going to check out how it turned out. very black with a hint of dark red when the sun is on it.
mikey.. I also like a dark forest green color. my 91 stang was called 'deep emerald green metallic'.. it was elegant for a mustang.. lol.. i think i want to stay away from the flames... less is more (i think)...
