Well Today sucked

If you're going to look into a new job, try forklift driving/dock work for shipping companies. Starts at maybe $10-12 and hour but ive done it for 2 years and I get over 10-12hrs a day at $17 an hour. Its fun and worth the money, but im saving up for Wyotech.

always sucks to hear this kind of stuff. the rich get richer while the poor get poorer. a guy i worked with just gave up the 23.39 an hour that we make for a job with Caterpillar makeing like 26 an hour. something to look into. he moved to pennsyvania for the job. he said they are still hiring. hope everything works out bro.

Thats cause people decide to go to college to get richer.

not exacly tru blare, i know of several college grads who can't get jobs & even if they do, they aren't making as much as i am, or other people that i know/work with......two examples, one of our leads has an electrical engineering degree......couldn't get a job in his field, so he came out here on his tools just like me. the second example is i can take a 3 day course (not college, given buy the software company) for p3 scheduling program...there was a guy here fresh out of high school who took this course...he is now making $65 an hour.....i know some engineers that don't even come close to making that.....i will say this much though, an education will open doors that normaly don't even get knocked on if you don't have one....

I am doing better than all of my grade 12 grad class isthat went to college , they just got out of college, now they are in major debt and nobody will hire them w/o experience, where I am making way more money than them, cuz they are workin at McDs' or other crap that pay s minimal for and I've flipped houses and stuff.

I'll see where my new job I'm getting will take me in a year. If I don't get hired after the contract expires,I'll probably go to college or go get my forkift certificate or my Ontario car dealer licence and get into sales,since I've already taken a course in sales and graduated,just the lack of a licence is holding me back from getting a sales job.

BTW,I'll be making $16.50/hr CDN to start at this new job,with just my gr.12. Factories are awesome to get into full time. Great pay and benefits.
