Thought I would throw up some progress pics. Owner has not decided if he wants painted fiberglass covers or leather covered. Suggestions......

nice step up. the only thing i wouldve done differently would be that i wouldve put the amps between the top subs in the gap in the box. it seems like it might get too hot for the amps with the comps right next to them. but i might be wrong. sweet truck neway!

looking real good bro. i would paint it. some crazy mural would be cool.

Thanks for the input! Gap between top subs is not quite big enought for the amps unfortunately. Will probably end up with another screen or something up there.
Due to noise issues, pumps will probably have a plexiglass cover over them with the pump cooling fans sticking out the top and another hidden fan adding to the air flow.

Thanks! Thats what I thought to. Either some art work or pin stripes. Will keep ya posted.

I would make panels for leather additions and paint the rest. To break it up instead of a solid color. I knew you would pop out sumtin cool I had faith in ya bro.

^ Thanks bro! Just had the owner over last nite and I think it will be some form of leather on the covers and possibly the headliner. Sub box is definately getting painted. I might be pretty good, but no way am I stetching leather over THAT box

looking tite immortal, i doubt i would try to stretch the leather on that box either.....a nicely done mural of some sort would look killer on the box!

another thought, & just my 0.02, but i'd consider moving the amps as you may end up with some interference with the amps & comps so close together, if nothing else, make sure that they aren't grounded @ the same spot, preferably ground the comps on one side of the frame/body and the amps on the other. the plexiglass over the comps sounds like a good idea, but you will need some serious air moving around them to keep from buring them up...may try to vent/pull air from that additional fan from outside the cabin for fresh air....

Thanks! Already considered the interference issue. Amps and compressors draw + from capacitor which is connected to secondary battery. Amps are grounded thru the capacitor, then to the secondary battery, then to ground which is a former seatbelt bolt for the 3rd row seats. Pumps are gounded with a 4ga wire to the 2nd row seat mounts. Hope that will give me enought isolation - will find out soon.

In your opinion, what part of the pump do you think will get the hottest? The head already has a fan on it which will be outside the box. The cylinder does not have a lot of fins on it so I am guessing it is not a high heat source. That would only leave the motors.
