sounds like you should be aight with the grounding....as for the q on the comps, the head will deffinately get the hottest, followed by the motors & cylinders (depending on how hard they are run) heat is one cause of failure to an electric motor, also one being improperly wired (example: too small cable) or not supplied with enough voltage...... i'd say that you have the latter two covered, but any extra ventilation that you can provide to the electric motors will dramatically increase their efficiency....

did it have the ducting for the rear passenger climate control? if so that might be an option, extend the ducting to the comps.......

Immortal looking good, how about this for an idea to do with the box.

Fiberglass the bottom area were all the amps etc are so that it all kinda sits in there own pockets and then paint the box and the lower area the same color as the truck, and finish it off with some tan leather trim rings for the speakers, and rings for all the openings for the equipment on the bottow area.

Hey NYTRDR24, nice idea - will have to do some research

86moose, I like the idea! Will have to pass it on to the owner.

Best guess, it's about 4 inches lower than when it arrived and about 8-9 inches lower than stock. With 180psi in the bags, it might get back to stock height - maybe

Now that I have got it this far, maybe I can take a little time off and catch up on the forums. Seams I only have time for 3 or 4 topics a day lately

I dont know what stock height on that thing was or what it weighs but just lookin at it I dont think 180 psi in the bags is gonna do it.Just a guess based on some OLD engineering training.BJ

Hmmmmmm engineering.

7" dia (RE7) bag works out to 38.465 sq.in. Add 180 psi and you get 6,924 pounds lift per bag. Bag is halfway from pivot point to ball joint so actual lift is 1/2 so total front lift is jsut under 7,000 pounds. Rear lift is closer to 14,000 pounds.

Was wondering why it went up so quick

might be a little late, but i suggest stainless hardline at least for the back section for the airline, instead of the black line. it'll look a lil cleaner, and wouldn't be too expensive for just that small of a section section.
