$1.20 a liter for 87. Ridiculous. Theres no need for it. I remember when gas used to be 40 cents a liter. That was about 10 years ago or something. I would love that. Imagine being able to fill our trucks for 20 bucks.
What happened between 10 years ago and now thats influenced gas prices so badly?..... Oh yeah. 9/11. George Bush is a Blood/Oil thirsty fuckin idiot.
You know though...Its not even really gas prices that make me so pissed, Its the insurance that really ticks me off. (Which was also influenced by 9/11 actions..) I pay $3000 a year for a 19 year old kid to drive a truck thats 21 years old with no colision, just basic shit..no tickets, no accidents. what am i paying for? If i were to have colision and claim it my insurance would pretty much double...so its a lose lose lose situation with that one.
Anyway back to the gas. Not sure who asked the question about where its going, but its not hard to see that gas will keep shooting through the roof. Think about it this way. Lets say our parents were paying 10..20 cents a liter back in their day..(40-80 cents a gallon). compare that to about 10 years ago costing only about 2-4x what they paid back in their day. Now compare that to what we're paying now. Prices of gas have just inflated out of control. Its retarded.
I've really been thinking..How is the world gonna be in...10 years...5 years? I mean you could really think about it like this..Gas is one of the biggest foundations of our existance. Without gas we struggle to get to work..run errands..visit friends..heat homes..cook..etc etc etc.
Another thing that really gets me...and i apologize about all my rambling but i mean for us Canadians..we're paying MORE for gas than the states. This doesn't make any sense at all. Look at all the oil fields out west. I dont understand why our gas isn't privatized?..Doesn't make sense.
ahh...who knows. whats everyone else think..?
