watch out for dogs...wreck pics

well i finally got the bike i was looking for a 2000 honda rc51 which is a v-twin 1000cc it was a bad ass bike until a dog decided to take it all from me in a matter of seconds. me and a buddy of mine are just cruising down one of my favorite roads to ride on because it is very curvy and i was running about 60 -65 and im mid curve and a dog decides to dart right out in front of me. i knew if i hit the dog i was going down, so i decided to take the chance and pull it back up move over about a foot and then sit it back down hard in the curve. i almost made it and just ran out of road. the ass end came off the side and fishtailed and pulled me off the road. hit a driveway and launched me through the air, and went flying through the woods, bouncing off trees like a ping pong ball. if i would have had 2 more inches of road i would have made it but enough with keeping you waiting heres the pics. if you notice all the plastic is pretty much held to the bike with bungy courds right now.

im okay i guess im pretty banged up scraped up bruised up muscles tight and knotted up, and stiff as a board but other than that im here and im thankful for that. atleast i still got this site to keep me occupied while im laid up in the house recooperating. and as to selling the bike im not looking to sell cuz i was a born rider and as long as i can buy it back from the insurance place if its totalled then i will be rebuilding and riding again.. it wont keep me down for long. thinking about stretching it and chroming it out and going back to low and slow on the bike also.

i spared the dogs life i knew that if i hit the dog i was definetly going down so i tried to go just to the right of it and just ran out of rode. the dick head state trooper thought i was lying about it, and gave me a ticket for operating a vehicle at a speed greater that applicable for conditions. because he said your suppose to slow down to a grandma speed aparrently to go around a curve cuz you dont know what is on the other side. its bullshit but the ticket has been taken care of and now all i have is improper equipment which is non moving violation with no points on insurance so its cool i guess.
