I thought that perhaps it was time for me to introduce my mazda duel cab project to you all... What I own is a 1989 Mazda - B2200 Duel cab... Which is still very much under construction

I've been calling it Project Grounded Mazda cause thats how I want it to sit and thats what my lifes like being married (grounded from going out...)

So here is the project before it came into the minitrucking world when was first purchased it...

Some basic work was done to it... Shaved doors, shaved the seam at the tail-lights, side maker indicators and arial. Shaved fuel filler flap, Welded up tailgate, Shaved stock mirrors (will run one billet on DS) and a static drop...

Since then I've been quite busy straighening the body and giving the truck it's under construction paint job....

I've been working on bagging the rear of the truck for about the last 6 weeks now and that is reaching completion... I've opted for an 8 Inch notch with a reverse triangulated cantilever four link which has been built in my next door neighbours gaurage with a heap of help from my friends in Zero Altitude...

Working very hard at the moment to get it registered, rolling and bagged in the rear in time for Austrilias biggest Minitrucking event ecc... but I guess time will tell... I'll definatly need a major service on the engine and possibly a new gearbox if a gearbox service can't repair it...

For now at least I'm just hoping for some luck... But I'm thankful that I have a truck which looks a little better everyday and will one day with a little good fortune be a roadworthy and recognisable quality minitruck....

Heres how it looks now days...

heres the latest photochop of how it may look one it's all completed...

Hope you like it...

That's it - Time for a mbs gathering - us - eastern meet mbs Austraila!

I think it would be cool if we get a bunch of mbs members to go fly to austraila and see how they do and get to see sites and trucks . and ummmmmmmmm AUSSIE girls ! WOOOOOOO ..

when's this big austrailian truck show ? ? Maybe next year we can plan for a gathering of minds .

Btw . Nice suspension work . You might want to look at replacing your sending unit in your gas tank while you have access to it - (preventative maintence ) That truck is awesome. I am in love with the 4dr!

A meet up sounds great...

The show is late november this year... 24th to 26th November...

The best info can be found at

Thanks for the heads up on the sender but I'm afraid that gas tank is gone... it hit the ground and couldn't be made to fit I have a tank from a datson 720 and slight notching of the floor to suit...

No it's over a weekend... Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday , 4 days...

Definatly need a passport and visa.... but you'd see some awesome sites as well... Where we are going is some of the best coast line that Australia has to offer...

Plus you'd see hundreds of the best trucks Australia has to offer...

Check out the newest domination DVD Worldwide domination which is due out very soon for olivers coverage of last years event...

where would i get a passport and visa? I 'm highly interested in making a trip out ....

Let me do some research for you...

Give you an idea of costs and such... What state is PA? And how long would you come for?

A week, two?
zaminis   +1y
To give you an idea of cost....

But I'm sure if you were keen there would be better deals...

Most of the ECC hotels are booked but that would not be a problem you could stay with Zero Altitiude and we are less then 500mtrs from NC and the like...

I guess it would depend how much other traveling you'd want to do as to how much more cost there would be...

Also I found the website to obtain an Australian visa
But you'd need to come up with an American passport first...

Hope this helps....

Maybe if you could encorage others to come you could do a deal with an airline and get cheaper rates....
