Project Low Dime.

Well i came across an offer i couldnt resist, and got myself an v-6 83' ext. cab s-10.

hope you guys dont mind, i know its not a mazda but thought you might like to see a progress thread. if not mods can delete this thread or tell me to.

so, i got her home around 5 O'clock. Its super good mechanical-wise, the bed is going to the junkyard along with some other misc sheetmetal.





after a couple of hours of stripping it down this is what it was begining to look like...



started to clean the engine bay.


then I was running out of sunlight, so i attemped to take it in my 1 car garage and work on it, that didnt turn out to well, lets just say its a tight squeeze.

Thats about all for today, tommorows plans are to get the fenders and the bed off.

you should keep it those faded stock colours and bag it

at least the cab lines up with the box, most s-10s I see that old are twisted

I saw keep that old bed on it and back half it and kick massive three wheels on that beast so you can fuck it up even more.

This is will be nice and easy for a 1st time bagger. How much did you spend?

nah, beds going to the scrap yard my mom will kill me if i leave it in the front yard any longer haha, then i can get some money to buy fenders.

update 8-9-06...

so me and a friend got a lot done today.

well here we are trying to get the bed off... it wasent to bad for 2 people.

gas tank had a leak, lines were shit so im gonna get a fuel cell.

so thats about what we got done today in about 6 hours or so.

I bet you could buy every body panel on that truck with even looking hard looks well rusty but hay for under 400 i guess its not bad
