^^ That's retarded^^ I know mexicans who have minitrucks on bags.
Lowrider is anything Low, Dropped, on hydros, static, bagged or whatever.
Minitruck is a MINI TRUCK. Now if you lower your MINI TRUCK, then you have a LOWRIDER MINI TRUCK but in a sense it's a Lowrider. it eventually became it's own scene, sorta.
It's like Italian food = Lowrider
Spaghetti and meatballs= Minitruck.
Minitruck is under Lowrider, but it is part of it, as if lowrider was a piramid and Minitruck is just inside of or part of it. It just turns out that minitruckin has changed over the years, and some people on the west coast do different things to their trucks than others. I remember when going EURO style was not seen as hip in the early 90's. they would advertise these different rims and slick lights and what not in lowrider magazine. For those who don't know what EURO style is, that is when tucked wheels were starting to be promoted over spoke and wire wheels. They also promoted ground effect kits, which some mixed with their wire wheels (you see that now and people frown at you) Some people were for the different style wheels that tucked in and some other werent. But it caught on and most minitruckers wanted that instead of the 13x7 mc leans with deepdish (anyone remember those?) I would agree that the lowrider scene was inspired by the Mexicans in California, and I understand your point since some mexicans still ride around as if it was 1989 with the fuzzy dice and all. But that's not every mexican, Some don't want a crazy paintjob with the mural on the trunk lid thing. My point is that minitrucking is part of being a lowrider, but no one wants to be called a lowrider because no one wants people saying, that's a mexican truck, even if you're a mexican, because no one wants to be labeled as if it was a bad thing,(bTW being mexican is not a bad thing, if you are, be proud) but the reality is.... minitruckin originated from the lowrider scene.
