Well we have been making some progress on the truck. We removed the bed and shaved all the doors and handles fixed all the rust and holes from the trim. We sanded it down to the metal and coated the whole thing with filler and block sanded it back down slick as glass this thing looks tight and will be straight. Here is a few pics.

Bed is looking good and that dash looks great! You dont need to relocate the gas tank if you do a a wishbone 3 link like this:

is the three link set up going to flex any? I was kinda thing of the reverse 4 link but not sure. I am really trying to just wing this thing. I have never bagged anything except for groceries. so I am relying on everyone on this sit for help. Please input...

the 4 link would be betetr imo and you only need to move the gas tank if its scrapin on the ground , in other owrds its gotta be bagged in order to figure that out im sure it shouldnt

if you plan on laying the truck on the ground the gas tank has to be either raised up or relocated because it hangs below the frame. if you raise it youll be fine to keep stock location and a 3link. if you decide to go forward 4link then the gas tank has to be relocated whether its a fuel cell or stock one. if you run reverse 4link the tank can be left where its at but still have to be raised like in the case of the 3link. the 2link, 3link, 4link (forward and reverse) debate has been beat to death. you can find a guy that has one of each that love it and another guy that hates it. youre just gonna have to find a link you like and go with it. do what you feel will work for you.

btw thats a pic of my truck and the 3link.
