Lower profile tire?

Let me ask this question. Could I use 245/75r16 tires on it front & rear without any trouble in the rear with them rubbing? Wouldn't they be about the same size as a 235/85r16?

The 245s would probably rub on your rear fenders with a 5/7 but should be fine on a 3/5 drop.

Here is a link to a tire size calculator I've use for years. I work the numbers until I get where I want and then check the size on a online tire site (usually tirerack) for load ratings. You don't want to know how many hours I've spent doing this in the past LOL!



BTW: Muskratt2, I have an uncle that lives your way and I'm only an hour and a half away. I ride up routes 8 and 40 towards Rocky Mount on my Triumph or Ducati a few times during riding season, Hi neighbor.
