louvered hood done

no i have given the credit to david every time someone has asked about it. it has been in my project thread and has been stated several times that i bought it already louvered. and as for your comment mazdawg why dont you take a little closer look at the work before you start dissin it. nothing is ruined there is a gap in the front so the water will drain out. i have done tested it and it works very well. and the skin is bolted on as well so even if something did start to rust i just build a new one.

okay mazdawg how would you have done it differently since i ruined it. im always up for ideas and suggestions to make things better. and marcus i hated this hood when i first seen it and the more i looked at it the more i liked it. im still not completely set if i want to keep it on or not. im going to do the few other things to try and make it flow a little better and if im still not satisfied i will prolly sale it.

i appreciate the credit but it was a gift to me also. i got it from a friend who had a matching tailgate and rollpan. he just wasnt feeling the hood and it was collecting dust. so he gave it to me but i never had a problem with the rain coming through the hood. i understand why you are trying to keep water from getting on the engine but when you bag it and cut your inner fenders out isnt rain gonna come in throught there?

well actually i have another idea for the inner fenders as well so i guess we will just see how that goes. so what you think about it david?

i liked it like it was cause, even though rain could get it it als let a lot of heat out.

i think it should have been left alone like it was. its kinda like a hot chick getting fake boobs, then wearing baggy clothes. youre taking away from the beauty of it.

actually im just hating on it cause you wouldnt sell it to me...lol
