new parts truck

lol yeah,thanks DJ. The truck is actually like 20 mins from my house. I'm picking it up tomorrow morning. I'll get a better inspection of the truck after I pick it up.

It also comes with an extra alternator and a stock carb,but I dunno if they're any good.

oh yeah,if anyone wants the cap,it's free.

So I picked it up and took it home today. It's got a whopping 337 000km on it. I tried to fire it up and it would just turn over but after about 2 mins of cranking it over I finally got it to fire and up and it runs....and it runs mint!! Needs a whole new exhaust though,it has a crazy exhaust leak under the cab. I ripped it up and down the driveway a few times and seems like it's worthy to fix up and put on the road as a driver. Oh! And it has power steering! yeeaaaahhhh!

337 000km thats about 210 000 miles?? I just hit 286,000 miles today...Nice find btw

After I do a closer inspection of things on it,I think before I part it out,or use it for parts of my own,I will try and get it roadworthy and use it as a beater or maybe sell it. It's a pretty clean truck for it's age and milage. Underside looks a little caked on with dirt and rust,so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the frame is solid.

Come on,$500 and it's a runner that doesn't smoke...can't go wrong with this thing as a work truck!

cant wait till spring when you get at it a little bit with some 15s, no bra or cap and a new bumper, clean up the dirt on the firewall, give it a wash and it would be a nice little daily
