The front chain wheel is small kinda for 2 reasons...Stronger and lighter....If you run a small cog(gear) in the rear you can keep the same gear ratio of a larger gear set up...its all about the ratio on how hard it is to pedal...It also make people ask why the hell is your gear so small...hope that made some sense.....

Triple post! lol nice bikes guys i also have a fly diablo... But broke my foot in 3 places last year so i dont ride as much anymore b/c it never healed right..
