also any ideas on waht bags should be used? Oh and the way I welded the axle up my frame was about 5.5 inches from layin. Kind of like the way i had it with the blocks and mono leaf.

It will probably lay out just fine as long as you notch it alright.

Personally I would run the bags closer to the axle on the bars. It rides better, its more firm than if they are very far away.

I would use Slam bags, or Contitech 4 plys. Both are very nice bags.

Also, you should look into instant center before you go much farther.

instant center? I was thinking bout some slam bags. I found some pics and it looks like i'm doin alright so far. so does the top bag mount go on the top of the frame rail?

Hey Seth, i know a while back my friend had a program on his computer that you just plugged in your 4 link information and from there would show you squat and anti squat under acceleration and different things like that. have you ever seen or used anything like that?

Yes. There is a free version online, that works alright. But is geared towards 4WD applications, and doesn't do much for us. The ones that are geared toward race cars, that would help us more, are not free and are expensive. Its easy enough to figure it out on paper though.
