I GOT ROBBED!!!

This weekend i put my truck in its first show, truck is not done but it looks real good plus it was a small local show so i enter and i see there are only 3 trucks there 1 s10 and c10FULLSIZE whatever the thing is that my truck looked way better than the 2 of them and more work done to it so i think i am going to take my first tropy home ya right 2 jeep cherokee take minitruck class witch i think is total crap just because they had a SUV class and they should have been in that class plus i thought a jeep cherokee is a SUV tell me if i am wrong but i was pissed.

A lot of small local shows are good for things like that.

Awards don't mean anything, anyway

most shows are lke that they have friends and will make sure the group that are together wins its like that at our saturday night show here politics man it sucks. I have sen a few cars and trucks come that should have won hands down and they dont and they never come back.

Hate to say it it man but that's how a lot of local, and even some of the bigger shows are run. How much did it cost to enter?

I feel your pain. Having been into minis since 92 I have been to many shows where the judging was screwy. (even had the same thing happen to me) However think about this, did you build you truck to have fun or to take trophies? If it is trophies you want they are a lot cheaper than building a truck. The memories you will have from the years of minitruckin are worth way more than any piece of plastic. I saw yes it sucks but I never built my truck to win I built it for the pride of making something I thought was cool and for cruising with my friends.

that sucks i use to have a 98 dodge dakota and a friend of mine had a 2000. same body and everything and we went to a local show and were put in 2 different classes. not like mild wild, we were put in a 98 dodge dakota and a 2000 dakota class. worse part was we were both the only ones in our class lol

i know its not about the tropys but i wood of like to get 1 it alright though it was $25 to enter and i think next time will drive to come chill with u guys instead going to a show
