Unibodies are cool to me. I just haven't seen one that wasn't wavy or tweaked. The problem is the cab is on rubber mounts and the bed is solid mounted to the frame. In order not to have major stress cracks in the body, I think you should rubber mount the bed. The frames on these trucks have a certain amount of flex built into them, that is the reason for the bed gap. I always wanted to do this to the roadster and even shave the doors.
