I have a question, I have an 87 b2000 bagged and my frame sits on the ground in the rear but towards the front its about 1.5 inch from the ground. I still need to flip my ball joints but whats this i keep hearing about pie cutting your upper control arms? Does that drop the truck a little bit more aswell? Any help would be great, and maybe some pics of how this is done...Thanks

What size wheels are you running?

Usually you pie cut to get your balljoints out of a bind. Its a possibility that its stopping you. I would also check to make sjure that the bag isnt already fully collapsed

Im running 17 escalade wheels now. but gonna end up running 20 soon. Those tubular upper an lower control arms if you could what are the benafits and do i need to run a 2" drop spindle?

The tubular upper and lower control arms offer a cleaner look. An advantage of many of the tubular lower arms is you get rid of the strut rod that runs from the lower arm forward to the frame. But - the same modifications can be done with the stock arms, just a lot more work. For the 20" you might need to run a drop spindle or you could "Z" the from frame clip (much more work).

For the tube arms that I make they use a 2" drop spindle with the S-10 lower balljoints, eliminate the factory strut rods, and will lay on 20's. The upper balljoint angle is already optimized for the larger wheels.

how do your lower arms mount?

You knock out the lower bushing, insert a steel cross shaft that welds to the frame, and then add a gusset from the back of the cross shaft to the frame.
