I will be doing a pipe notch eventually on my truck but I'd like to go ahead and figure out what size pipe works. Also, is anyone running a bump stop with a pipe notch? Pics would be sweet too. Still trying to decide on a four link or three link.

i used 5" on my first. cut in half and then squished it down a half inch. a 2" c is perfect because anymore and the rearend will hit the bed floor. using the 5" gave you some extra room.

he said he was getting a 5" pipe. so depending how much of the arc we use we could get up to 2 1/2" more clearance. im sure it will be fine. how do you take out the antilock brake? just a splice and good to go? any downfalls to taking it out? sorry for thread jacking. no need to make a new thread for same topic

take antilock brake thing out. You'll see how to undo and just plug in rerouting around it. The antilock computer is underneath drivers seat. unplug so you get no light on the dash. doing the "c" is perfect for static, anymore and your cutting floor. this is when i had it static rode better than stock. cut out bump stop in front, get Isuzu pup shocks and trim the upper shock mount so upper arm doesnt hit it. mine rode great!

you will want to cut the gas tank cross member if you're low enough. I hit mine occasionally
