By hotter ignition I mean A coil like a blaster 2 or a msd box. I run the 32/36 with a stock fully rebuilt engine only thing done is bored .40 and the carb. Works great.

a 32/36 for a stock build is a great carb that will give you good efficiency and an increase in power. a 34/34 is a waste of time personally, the primary is too big and the secondary is too small to be an effective carb for either power or for efficiency. the 36/36 and the 38/38 are good synch carbs if you have a decent setup already, IE a reground cam and a header. Bigger coils are a waste of money really, the stock coil can handle most anything you throw at it. if you run a bigger coil (like I did) you will need to increase your gap, and this can give you minimal gain.
