4.3 question guys

i know this probably dont belong here but i dono where else to put it lol. but did the chevy s10 come out with a manual trans with 4x4? thanks guys

not sure what year range you are looking at but the older ones were more common with the s-15 pickups and some of the newer blazers with the vortec 4.3 had manuals...not as many but a buddy of mine has one

thanks mate. and i hear that the vortec can easily be swapped over to a carbed is that true?

honestly i know you can with the v-8 vortecs pretty easy...not sure about the v-6...i never play with anything that small

lol i dont blame you lol. but i still gotta have room for everything lol. i aint that technical lol. im only a mechanic lol. well im a lube tech lol but it still counts lol. i also looked on s10 scene and nothing about the 4.3L that i needed to know lol so i thought i would try here lol. does anyone on here know if i can turn the vortec 4.3 into a carbed lol or can i get one carbed lol.?

Just about anything you can do to an SBC, you can do the same on a 4.3 in a slightly smaller scale.

what is sbc?

For this SBC means small block Chevrolet v8 engine.

My B2200 WILL have a 4.3 in it... eventually.

thanks dat dood. that might really help me out. and i can get a 4.3 motor for 500 bucks lol compared to my quote of 1,095 bucks for a rebuilt 2.6.
