Just cause im curious what kinda folks are all on here...post up what you do for a living...or what you want to ultimately do for your career.


Me personally?...Im a mechanic in a small shop...seven bays. We do pretty much everything unless its a huge truck or a diesel. Ive been trying to get into this work my whole life and finally got there. Good times.

I'm a Systems Engineer for the government. I work on servers all day. I would love to eventually work on the app I'm building on the side full time that will run sites like this. Maybe some day.

Cool thread.. i am a manufacturing engineer for mid size automotive plant. We make ac, power steering and hydraulic hoses. I design tooling/ machines, troubleshoot etc..

hey im a master painter and run my own company called Eden Painting....not my dream job but got in it as a filler job....7 years later it took over me..lol

I'm a chromatography test methods development and validation scientist for the over-the-counter pharmaceutical/consumer products business.

And our bonus checks were deposited today !!! We make money to meet pre-determined levels,, we get bonus. The first 22 years I worked there, not one penny of bonus. It's payback time now !!!

Essentially a programmer. I was doing home health software, but recently moved to tax software.

Im a project supervisor for Charter cable i have 25 techs to baby sit 6 days a week. not my dream job at all but it pays well. going six years strong!!! who needs a job.....im always hiring

Im a mechanic i work on every thing from cars,trucks,tractors and anything ells that has a motor that needs to be fixed. Its my dad business i just had to move back with them so now im work for him but its kinda cool working with him..


before that i worked for a performance shop, turbo cars built alot of my own parts, a lot of swaps
ran a civic drag car there 95 civic coupe 1.8 all stock with 75 shot of nos ran 12.1.

I'm an automotive collision repair technician. That's my fancy sounding technical name but I paint cars for a living. The money is great when we are busy. I can usually turn 80-100+ hours on a good week. I run the whole paint shop by myself and we have 2 body men so its a smaller shop but we turn out some very nice work.
