Okay so what about mono leafing the rear? My truck sits about 2" higher in the ass right now and I'd like to level that out. I currently have 3 or 4 Inch blocks and I'm afraid to go any bigger on the blocks because my u bolts and plate are about an inch from the ground. Also is there any shocks that would not bottom out and that won't throw my front tires into fender? Thanks again.

to keep it "relatively safe" in the rear end, you can remove 2 of the 4 leafs (leaves?). keeping your 4" drop blocks (heard it's best to get angled ones for your driveshaft pinion angle).

it's relatively safe, but not to your oil pan, and head if you nail a bad ass bump.

i don't know about removing the bumpstops/mounts all together... they are there to protect things (suspension parts from going beyond their normal limits?), but shortening them would certainly be an idea.

I've been running no bump stops up front and in the rear on all my trucks, but I've set my suspension to accommodate that. 91 Isuzu 4wd front shocks, with a lower profile tires i.e. 60 series on 14s, 40 series on 16s and the isuzu provide a quality ride, and will bottom out before the tire hits inner fender and I'm re keyed 3 splines up front with knuckles tightened to floor pan, 3in rear frame z, 3 inch blocks, 2

Okay so I like my stance right now so is there any shocks I can run that won't throw my tires into fender or what can I do to avoid that? Like removing inner fender? Also if I were to move the torsions 1 click up would that provide much difference? I'm sorry for all the questions but I'm not very familiar with suspension stuff the truck was lowered when I got it. And how much drop would the mono leafing give me? As always thanks

go with the isuzu shocks I mentioned, if you remove the inner fenders you have to cut them out, but you really need inner fenders of some sort, or trailer fenders mounted higher up. Main leaf and over load bar only will give about 2 more inches, but puts the axle really close to the frame, and without even a mini in frame axle notch you'll hit able into frame and that isn't good. some paths to lowering might involve some welding...

Okay so i lifted my truck in the front about 1.5-2" and now I have great suspension travel. So... If I were to flip ball joints will I still have the travel of suspension or will I be back to square one? And if not will I be throwing Tire into fender if I flip them?

You'll still have the same suspension travel, but yes, it will put your tire closer to inner fender, and still on a good bounce you could hit the tire into the inner fender. lower profile tire would solve that, but only for so long until you decide to lower it more. And flipping the lower balljoint wil give about 1/2"-1" drop. That would give close to the previous drop, but with the current suspension travel/ride quality.

Oh, and I've said this before on other posts involving ball joint flip questions. ONLY FLIP THE LOWERS. Flipping uppers does nothing for a drop, and will only put added stress on the upper and will cause it to fail sooner. you can flip the lowers without popping the ball joint out of the spindle. Just unbolt it, and secure it out of the way while you cut the hump off the lower control arm. Then bolt the ball joint onto the top of the lower control arm with the bolts going in from the bottom, instead of going in from the top like factory.

Okay so this is off topic but do ya think I could tuck 17s or 18s?
