anyone know how to get around emissions in az

so what about motor swaps if i put a newer injected engine would it fail the visual inspection? (not that i plan on doing it just wondering)

I doubt the guys there would have any idea, they are not anywhere close to mechanics. On mine, after I installed the Weber, they didn't care about the Weber or its air cleaner, they cared that they could now see that some vacuum fittings on the outlet were capped off; they always had been, but they failed me because the could see them. So I routed one to another, that made them happy. If you don't have cruise control or power brakes, those outlets are capped, but hidden beneath the stock air cleaner, which is huge.

i had my 91 b2600i tested before i left washington... i passed

short ram warm air intake
no charcoal canister
straight piped exhaust, no cat, 2 1/4" into a 2 1/4" magnaflow

only thing that failed me was gas cap... apparently locking caps are notorious for failing... so i bought a new one and showed them the new one and they gave me a passing score. i put the brand new cap in my tool box when i got home...
