Okay, i have bleed the system over and over and over and over, adjusted rear brakes, checked for leaks and have found none, replaced master cylinder, my brake booster check valve is good, and the booster is not leaking. I have a squishy pedal half ay down or maybe a bit less then it gets firm. You cycle the key from off to on and you can hear the ABS Valve under the bed or whatever it is click and the click off. Could something be wrong with that? Proportioning valve not working right or what?

What are you working on? In general, if air gets into the master cylinder, it can take an obscene amount of bleed to get it out. It may just take time and effort.

When you bled the system, did you run the engine in idle and had a helper stepping the brake pedal as you released the brake fluid out of every bleeder screw? Or did you use the one man bleeder tool? Did you replace the rear brake shoes and the front disc pads?

mine was like that for the longest time, never saw a leak until I stretched my wheel cylinder some and saw a pin hole in the rubber boot, took 2 or 3 times of checking to find. while it didn't let much air in at all, it was enough to make my brake pedal squishy and occasionally it would pull one way when I hit my brakes. I bleed the rear and not a whole lot of air came out but it made a hell of a difference. theres only one bleeder for the rear tho, its on the driver side on the back of the wheel cylinder.

Replace your brake hoses, check for leaks, rust or damage to your brake hard lines... And try reverse bleeding your system

The most common oversight, when changing a master cylinder, is proper bench bleeding!
It can be done on the truck, but is soooo much trickier to get all the air out.
Did you bench bleed yours?

What year mazda is it. With abs it should have bleeder on both sides on rear axle.and is your abs light on in the dash when it's running.

My ABS truck (1991 b2200 Cali, EFI base) has only one rear bleeder. Where you'd expect a bleeder on the right slave cylinder, there's a hard lint to the left slave.

On the rear end behind the wheel on the axle on every one I have had or seen has had a bleeder on Both sides follow the hard line from the distribution block on rear end and its right there. Far as the abs on a 26i there is a sensor on top of the rear end that when u bottom out it breaks and it just dangles there causin the abs light to stay on.

I have done all the basics. Bench bleed master cylinder, Checked for leaks over and over. Has none whatsoever. Tried bleeding with engine off, with engine on. Used a Compressed air powered vacume bleeder, all my fluid is crystal clean now and i bled it till my eyes bled. I only have one bleeder on the rear and it is on the left rear wheel. It has Abs and no the light is not on. It is highly aggravating. I press the pedal once the back brakes work FIRST and if you press to hard it will lock them up. Pump it twice when stopping, the front start working with the rear. CRAZY ! ! ! NEVER SEEN SUCH SHIZZLE !
