I've got a 92 B2600i. fully rebuilt motor new fuel pump fuel filter plugs wires cap rotor button and maf sensor. So I left for work truck ran fine pull in the driveway and the truck dies on me. Turns over just won't crank. fuel pump kicks on has gas. I haven't had time to check anything else being that I'm at work. just seeing what it could be or I could check. need some info asap if possible. Thanks

Confirming for all here: the engine spins at normal speed using the starter, just won't start. Is this what you mean?

If so, check the ignition switch electricals; just because the engine spins doesn't mean that all circuits in the electrical switch are OK.

There is a relay that is a common problem in the ignition

Are you even getting 12 volt positive TO the coil when ignition is switched on?

The ignition relay someone mentioned could be the one next t the battery... I had that one go out on mine and after having the coil checked, the coil passed, but while in the vehicle the coil didn't spark, and my problem wound up being that ignition relay that connects next to the battery. It was full of water from a recent engine bay cleaning...

Update. getting spark out of the coil but when I plugged the plug wire in it to see if it was getting spark from the plug wire and no spark at all. tested the coil again to double check and getting spark straight out the coil just not from my plug wire that plugs into distributer. So I ordered a set of wires

Got a complete wire wet and changed them all and fired right up. the wire going from coil to dist. was bad
