Well i wanted my truck loud so i took her in (all stock exhaust ) threw on a fm super 10 which is the loudest, had it dumped a foot after the muffler. Its Silent no louder than before i took it in!!! I was and still am bummed out, 140 pretty much wasted!I thought it was going to be a little noisey!

Do u still have the cat? And are u running a header? Cause all I have is a cheap ass turbo muffler and mine is loud as hell. I'm actually looking to get a resonator to calm it down some.

My 87 B2000 had a glass pack when I bought it. After the fiberglass wore out, and was gone, the perforated tube just rattled around inside. I got pissed and straight-piped it. It never needed a muffler... even with gutted cats!

I'm running the manifold cat into a large/quiet muffler. And at 60-75 it is super loud to me, but it does exit right behind the door.

On my old truck I had a headder 2" piping a delta flow 40 flowmaster and the cat removed. People thought my try truck had a 5.0l in it. I got asked daily. It only showed the 4 cyl noise if I reved it over 3500 rpm.

It has both cats,no header. I was going to get that turbo muffler but the guy said the super 10 is the loudest? Its just crazy how theres nothing!

Need to get rid of cats. That will make this biggest difference.

can i just get rid of one? anyones eaiser than the other?

the second one is easier. The manifold cat is kind of a pain. If you are going to take it off you might as well get a header or swap to the mx6/626/probe manifold.
