I dont know if there is a thread for just fuel mileage results, but post your latest fuel mileage results, and indicate if loaded, unloaded, city, highway, mods, etc...

Just got back from getting wood for the winter, pulling a trailer with my quad and a full box of wood on the way back, 270KM round trip, I got 14L/100KM, which is right on 16.8 US MPG. All highway driving, and I was able to maintain 5th gear on most of the highway.

I am running a non turbo 13B rotary, I have manual control of my aux ports, and I had them closed for more torque. I also have smaller than stock tires (195/60R15 on the rear), stock rear axle (3.9) ratio, but an RX7 gearbox, giving me 2200RPM at 60MPH indicated on the dash (actual 55MPH due to small rear tires).

My fuel economy is based on actual mileage, I indicated 290KM on the tank, but due to my smaller tires, my speedometer and odometer record about 10% more than actual.

Unloaded and driving in the city, I average about 16L/100KM, which is about 15 US MPG, driving normally lol adjusted for my tire size.

Combined city/highway for me is at 20-22MPG in an automatic carbed truck with stock tire size light truck tires (should have bought passenger car tires), stock engine, weber 32/36DGEV, pacesetter header, one cat and vacuum operated EGR.

If I do all highway I get around 26-28 if I use the OEM cruise control and keep it below 70MPH which I rarely do.

I'm in the same boat as Dan. I have a stock 2.2L automatic trans. standard cab short box, 195/65/14 tires on all fours, stock carb, new stock exhaust with a magnaflow cat, and still have all the EGR crap in place, truck is lowered about 5 inches all the way around, and I'm getting between 21-23 mpg in the city and just slightly higher on the highway/interstate around 25-28 mpg. And these number are with no load besides me and my girl adding about 300 lbs combined.

I should add my range from full to 1/4 tank on the gauge is 160 miles lol. I have no egr, oil injection delete (running premix), full emissions delete, no cats, pacesetter header and 2 magnaflow mufflers.

'93, 2.2L, 99k miles, pacesetter with no catalytic converters at all, full stock exhaust other wise. 5spd. Stock carb and air cleaner. Stock 205/75r15 tires, 2wd extended cab

21 to 23 around town.
24 to 26 on interstate @75mph 3,250rpm

Ive cauculated about 15.5 mpg unloaded city with weber and pacesetter. Full two inch exhaust with no cat. 245/45/17.(and i thought low pros would get better mileage lol)
My tires are so wide they have a ton of resitance.

How does having stock exhaust and intake compare to pacesetter and weber? Any of u guys know?

How about lowering ur truck does this give you less wind resitance? My 89 is lowered 4 1/2 inches

And for the 72..... I dont even keep track lol

Lowered, nope. Still same square footage frontal area of vehicle. And same aerodynamics.

Was getting 16 hwy, but swapped in a TPI 5.7 liter, and now I get 20 hwy.

22.38 MPG average since August.

91 California EFI, 5 speed, regular cab, short bed, manual steering, no AC. Windowless camper shell.

190,000 miles on original engine. Bone stock, except for 2 inch in/out stock type muffler, and 2 inch tailpipe.

Most of that average is on 215/65 r 15 tires. I've just had 205/70 r 15 fitted.

I have a very aggressive, foot to the floor driving style.

Sometimes full of carpentry tools, sometimes not. Always hauling 2X12 JL in a sealed MDF box.

No friggin way i have like the lowest mileage is it my tires you guys think? The weber is a performance carb right? So they use a little more fuel?
